"Be" Step 1 | Believe, Repent, and Become a Disciple
Jesus commands everyone to repent, believe in the gospel, and become a disciple.The word repent means to change your mind, to turn around, and to go in another direction. When we hear the gospel—the good news that God sent His Son Jesus to die to pay for our sins—something inside us knows it’s true, and we must choose to believe it and follow Jesus. When we do, God freely forgives all our sins, gives us eternal life, and makes us part of His own family.
