"Be" Step 2 | Be Baptized
Jesus commands all believers to be baptized in water to show they believe the gospel. Like wearing a wedding ring, it's a sign of commitment. Baptism declares, “My old life of sin died with Jesus, so bury it!” The water represents the ground. Coming out of the water declares, “I’ve been raised from the deadness of sin to live a new life in Jesus.” The water washing over us represents God washing away our sins.

2. Do you believe Jesus died for your sins and was raised from the dead? Do you accept that your old life died with Jesus and that He’s giving you a new life? If your answer is yes, we’ll baptize you in water according to Matthew 28:19. And then we will pray for you to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
