Step 4 | Be a Witness
Read: Acts 1:8, and 4:31
“They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness” (NASB).
Being a disciple of Jesus includes sharing the gospel and discipling others. If we don’t share the gospel and teach people to receive forgiveness and salvation through Jesus, many people will be unnecessarily lost for eternity.
This is why Jesus wants everyone to be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps us do things we wouldn’t ordi- narily do and say things we wouldn’t ordinarily say. So pray earnestly to be filled and overflowing with the Spirit. You’ll know when you are.
