The Four “Be” Steps
When a person believes the gospel they should immediately begin following Jesus starting with four “Be” Steps. These four steps could be explained in one or two conversations, however, using the lessons on the following pages will help new believers to better understand these steps, and take them.
The four “Be” Steps are:
1. Believe, Repent, and Become a Disciple.
2. Be Baptized (in water).
3. Be Filled (with the Holy Spirit).
4. Be a Witness (of what Jesus did for you).
Leading people through the “Be” Steps is easy. Simply walk through the lessons on the following pages.
Once your disciple(s) has completed the four “Be” Steps, you are ready to begin studying the 7 Commands of Jesus in a discipleship group. If you don’t yet have a group, pray with your new disciple about others you can share the gospel with and invite to join you.
