One young believer was suffering from anxiety and depression, so her Christian boss told her that he wanted her to read a chapter of the NT and pray for 30 minutes each day when she begins her shift. She said, “You want me to read the Bible and pray during work hours?” And her boss said, “Yes,” and then explained that he had done this with many employees before, and that it proved to be very helpful to them. So she agreed to do it. Within a couple of weeks she came and told her boss that she experienced a significant breakthrough, and that “something” lifted off of her.  She said she was hearing the Lord speak to her again, that the anxiety was gone, and that she had already initiated a gradual process of eliminating her antidepressant medication.
Friends, this is the kind of “life-change” that Jesus wants for every person on earth. And He sent us to help make that happen. He told us to go make disciples… teaching them to obey His commands. It’s really not that hard to do, but it does require intentionality. Will you be committed to obey Jesus and make disciples for the rest of your life?
