Commandment #6:  GATHER WITH BELIEVERS

Remember:

• Repent of any sin and keep following Jesus.
• Be baptized in water and baptize others who will follow Jesus.
• Stay filled with the Holy Spirit.
• Pray every day.
• Hear and obey God’s Word every day.

Read: Matthew 18:19–20

Discuss:

• How many believers does it take to gather in Jesus’ name?
• What did Jesus say these believers could do to cause a response from Father God?
• Who else did Jesus say would attend these gatherings? Why?
• Where did the first church gather and what did they do? (see Acts 2:42–47)
• Should believers still be gathering together today? (see Hebrews 10:24–25)

Respond:

• What do I need to do this week to obey this command?
• Who will I teach Jesus’ commandments to this week?

Obey:

• Gather with believers each week.
