  • What does the juice in the cup represent? Explain.
  • Why does Jesus want us not to forget the sacrifice He made at the cross?
  • What benefits can we pray for and receive by faith when we receive the Lord’s Supper? (see Isaiah 53:5)
  • What did the author of 1 Corinthians (Paul) say to remind the Corinthians why we should receive the Lord’s Supper? Would it help for us to read this passage just before we receive the Lord’s Supper?
  • Where, and how often, can the Lord’s Supper be shared? (see Acts 2:46)

Respond:
  • What do I need to do this week to obey this command?
  • Who will I teach Jesus’ commandments to this week?

Obey:
  • Regularly receive the Lord’s Supper with other believers.
